How to create blink and flicker effect on video with filmora

Its true it is not the final destination of the video editing world but it is the beautiful software to learn, to start career on video editing. You can learn lots of things easily without anyone's guide because it is designed in such a way that you can learn it very easily.

Sometimes we want to add the rocking type music to our video which has fast beats and similar other effects on the music track, then at that time without the flicker and blink effect our video remains really like 90's picture. Our video does not match with our audio track that is why we need to add such kind of effects like flicker, blink, boom and so on. Adding such effects really makes our video more attractive and fascinating. If you are a video editor and learning the video editing you may have definitely faced the problems. Create Flicker/Blink effect

First you have to open your wondershare filmora in your computer. You can do it in your smart phone too. Its all same. Just try to understand the real trick. You ca use latest or the older version for this trick it easily supports the trick.

Step 1

Import the video and audio on which you wanna add the flicker effect actually. You should have to consider the audio track too. 



Step 2

Add that video and audio to your editing timeline. Find the frame of your video where you want to add the flicker or blink effect. Go to the media, click sample color, drag and drop the black sample color to your timeline and place it up to your video. Put it actually on the same upper place where you want to add the effect.

Step 3

Don't forget to scale the sample color to match your video scale. To do scaling, double click on the sample color, click on the expand arrow of transform tab, and scale the sample color to fit the frames of the video.


Step 4

Split the sample color on the small pieces less than one frame or not more than one frame. I had cut pieces of sample color by one frame just to show you. I recommend you to cut two to three pieces of a frame. But one thing is important, the more the pieces of frame, the higher the flicker speed will be. 


Step 5

It is the second last step of the process. You should arrange the piece of small frames with small small distance between them. For example if you make three pieces of a frame, arrange only two piece in a frame which creates the distance between the pieces of sample color. 




Step 6

Then finally render the preview and watch if it matches with your wish or not. If you are done hit the export button, you will have your effect.



Now watch the video you will be able to figure out the trick visually. I am showing just the method of the trick you can do more better than me. Note: you have to make the sample color two piece in each frame at least. Then only you will get the true result. You can make more pieces in a frame as per your wish but you have to mind your music track's speed.
